Growing up in an impoverished neighborhood, in a single parent household, my mother, a community and civil rights activist instilled the values of volunteerism, higher education, hard work and dedication in my heart and soul.  I offer a variety of skills encompassing approximately forty years of community service and advocacy, thirty years of middle and upper management in the private sector and ten years as a local business owner with an international presence.
